The logo design had to capture the excitement of the campaign, while emphasizing the celebratory nature of achieving a milestone anniversary. “People” was the word used to describe the desired logo visual the Celebrate 100 committee wished to see.
By following the branding guidelines of Rotary International, CC Communications was able to design a logo that encapsulated the sense of celebration and personhood that the organization looked to achieve. The use of bright colours in the centre of the numerical 100 resembles a firework, made up of people joined by hand. The circle they form completes the centre zero in the numerical “100” emphasizing unity.
